The Polini Speed Control variator offers great results on acceleration.
The upgraded version from 2003 features optimized roller guides, a reinforced crown and a retainer that protects the variator bolt. Depending on the scooter model, the kit comes with reinforced roller sets and springs for the clutch.
The Maxi HI Speed has a new polishing process on the roller tracks, which has improved its slip. The mouthpiece is made of hardened and ground hardened chrome-nickel special steel. It is distinguished by its large internal bag with internal grease storage function in which a kind of spring is placed that allows a constant distribution of grease on the bolt even in the most difficult conditions. With this feature you can see the difference from previous models in the fact that the performance remains constant and it is no longer necessary to continuously change the roller settings to find the best performance.
Supplied with a torque spring with 10% less hardness than the original which increases the rotation speed at the outlets. The rollers are covered with a new mix of nylon material and aramid fibres.
Polini ensures that thanks to these features, the new variator requires less maintenance, largely thanks to the lubrication of the nozzle and the bolt.
