A professional treatment that at first glance seems somewhat expensive, but is worth every penny spent. In classic motorcycles such as old Vespas, the inside of the tank tends to rust, which in turn can even cause an engine breakdown.
With this kit for the treatment and internal anticorrosive protection, not only is the tank cleaned up, but also the tank is protected for the coming years. And the use is not complicated at all.
The kit consists of 250ml of resin, 65ml of catalyst and 500ml of phosphate acid.
The treatment is divided into three phases, the preparation of the tank (remove the tap, plug holes), the pickling phase (removal of acids and dirt) and the encapsulation phase (application of resin and catalyst inside). Detailed instructions are in the kit.
