A good brake pad break-in provides better braking and avoids crystallization. It is very important for all compounds to make a good brake pad break-in.
The correct running-in of the brake pads:
- A series of gentle braking holding the brake lever for 10-15 seconds
- Stop braking to cool disc and pads
- Repeat this action 5 or 6 times.
With this, a correct thermal and heating cycle, cooling of the system and later better braking are achieved.
