Cylinder Derbi Euro 2 70cc Metrakit ProRace3

The new high-end cylinder from the Metrakit house, keeping its Metrakit line, continues with the exhaust outlets with boosters. The new Pro 3 consists of 5 somewhat larger load transfers than the old version and Vertex pistons (d.47.6mm).

It is a cylinder designed for racing, composed of a special aluminium alloy, to obtain maximum performance and hardness, thus guaranteeing superior mechanical characteristics. The inner coating of Nickel and Silicon Carbon ensures the best performance.

The cylinder head of Metrakit cylinder is made up of two parts, cylinder head and cylinder nock. The same special cylinder alloy is found in the cylinder head, which provides maximum safety for the performance required in competition. The design of the nock is studied to increase the cooling capacity, and withstand the high temperatures and high revolutions they reach.

The material of the O-rings is Viton, the most appropriate material for this function, turning out to be the one that best preserves its properties of hardness, elasticity and sealing at high temperatures.

The piston, with a single ring, studied for a competition cylinder, is made with a special graphite alloy treated and coated with hard chrome of high thickness and hardness, thus conserving all its properties in long competitions.

All this studied and tested for tough competition at the highest level.
